KATHUA, Sept 11: Rajbagh Police has arrested two smugglers and recovered 30 liters of illicit liquor from their possession.
According to reports a Police Party of PS Rajbagh headed by Inspector, Sarabjeet Singh, SHO PS Rajbagh acting upon specific information, laid a naka at Thangdev Pora and intercepted two persons who were riding on a motorcycle bearing Registration No. PB35B-1146 and during their search, 30 liters of illicit liquor recovered from them.
Accused persons were taken into custody and case FIR No. 170/2017 U/S 48-A Excise Act stands registered against them at Police Station Rajbagh.
The drive was carried out under the supervision of Ravel Singh Choudhary, SDPO Border and overall supervision of Mohammed Suleman Choudhary, SSP Kathua.
