JAMMU, Apr 27: The 66th Battalion of Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) celebrated its 3rd Raising Day at Battalion Campus, Lower Roop Nagar here today.
Vijay Singh Jamwal, commander welcomed Manavendra Negi, Deputy Inspector General SSB Jammu the chief guest on the occasion. The celebration began with the impressive guard of honour.
The DIG congratulated all the Battalion personnel & their family members on the occasion. He emphasized the need for undoubted commitment towards work to provide better services to the nation and its citizens.
This was followed by some games for the amusement of the troops. The chief guest interacted with all the troops and officers of 66th Battalion, SSB during the ‘Bada Khaana’.
NS Negi JAO SHQ Jammu, Barjeet Singh Dy Commandant, SP Tondup, Dy Commandant, Dr Rajat Sehgal Asstt Commandant (Med) and Dr Mrinalini Singh Asstt Commandant (Med) were also present on the occasion. Post lunch session included an inter-company volleyball match and a tug-of-war round for recreation of the jawans.
