DEHRADUN, July 21:
The sky across Uttarakhand remained generally cloudy today.
Light to moderate rain or thunderstorm occurred at a few places.
The Weather Department said heavy rainfall may occur at isolated places especially in Nainital and Almora districts. The Char dham yatra would remain suspended till July 22 except in Kedarnath where it would remain suspended till July 23.
The decision to re-start the pilgrimage would be taken if the weather conditions improved. The pilgrims were staying safely at various places, official sources said. The weather would remain almost same with cloudy sky across the hill state tomorrow. Light to moderate rain or thunderstorm would occur at a few places.
However, heavy rainfall may occur at isolated places especially in Nainital, Almora, Uttarkashi, Chamoli and Pithoragarh districts, the weather Department said. The weather Department has forecast no major changes in weather conditions from july 23 to 27 (UNI)
