JAMMU, June 30: To have a review on the strategies as well as to discuss the ongoing party programmes and developmental activities, State president of BJP convened a meeting of its MLAs and MLCs at Party Headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, here, today.
Member Parliament (Rajya Sabha), Shamsher Singh Manhas, former Dy. CM, Kavinder Gupta and State general secretary (Org.), Ashok Kaul also participated in the meeting.
Besides State general secretaries, Pawan Khajuria and Harinder Gupta, Ex. ministers Sat Sharma (CA), Chander Parkash Ganga, Sham Choudhary, Bali Bhagat, Rajiv Jasrotia, Sukhnandan Choudhary, Priya Sethi, Ajay Nanda, MLAs Rajesh Gupta, Neelam Langeh, Rajiv Sharma, Dr. Gagan Bhagat, R.S. Pathania and Dr. Krishan Bhagat, MLCs, Ashok Khajuria, M.K. Ajatshatru Singh, Ch. Vikram Randhawa, Adv. Vibodh Gupta and Girdhari Lal Raina were also present in the meeting.
Ravinder Raina, while addressing the meeting, said that it must be the target of every public representative to reach to every single person whatsoever the circumstances are, and understand his or her problems and address them. He assured MLAs and MLCs that the party will fully augment their efforts for the development of their respective constituencies.
Raina called for the concentrated effort on various developmental works being undertaken by them to see for their completion and effective utilization, so that the masses can be benefitted by their accomplishment. He stressed on taking to people of all the public welfare schemes initiated by the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi led Central Government.
Raina said that the people of this region have special bonding with the BJP as they have nourished it with their emotions and blood so every leader and activist of BJP must work with the target to reach up to their expectations. He encouraged all the legislators to work with never ending enthusiasm and sense of service.
Ashok Kaul briefed about the various suggestions given by national president of BJP during his visit. He said that the National president has clearly instructed to double the pace to work for various activities. Kaul also sought the feedback from legislators related to the organizational and developmental works. He prompted the legislators to work efficiently with the vision of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikaas”.
