JAMMU, June 8: BJP State unit president Ravinder Raina and Ikk Jutt Jammu chief Ankur Sharma, Advocate are on hit list of the militants for their nationalist approach.
Intelligence agencies have received very specific inputs that the militants have formed special squads to eliminate Ravinder Raina. A couple of militants were reported to have conducted recce of his house at Lamberi in Nowshera tehsil of Rajouri district.
“A Pakistan commander of Hizbul Mujahideen has tasked his militants to kill Raina for raising nationalist voice quite often in his every speech and his outburst against Pakistan, ISI and militant commanders,’’ sources said.
Ankur Sharma is among the targets of the militants for his nationalist and pro-Jammu approach, the document revealed.
When contacted, Raina declared that he was not worried about threats of the militants and would continue to raise nationalist voice till his last breath. He said Narendra Modi Government was committed to wipe out militancy from entire Jammu and Kashmir and the task will be completed very shortly.
