JAMMU, Oct 18: A delegation of PDP Trade Union headed by S K Raina its senior leader today called on Minister of State for Health and Medical Education and Social Welfare Asiea Naqashi and apprised her of the problems of migrant Anganwari workers who are without honorarium for last 25 months.
Raina while highlighting the plight of these workers said that they are facing many hardships due to non payment of honorarium for over two years now and demanded that the same be released soon. He also demanded that eligible migrant ICDS workers be also given the promotion benefits at par with other workers of the State. Raina was accompanied by Sunil Bhat.
