JAMMU, May 15: Ravinder Raina, J&K BJP president along with Mayor JMC, Chander Mohan Gupta and corporator, Rahul Kumar visited Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar and took stock of the facilities being provided to the patients.
The senior BJP leaders met with patients enquiring about the medical facilities being provided to them at the Gandhi Nagar Hospital. They assured them the best possible medical facilities in this hour of deep crisis.
Asserting that the Government is relentlessly working round the clock in defeating the ongoing second wave of COVID-19 pandemic, Raina appealed to the people of the Union Territory to wholeheartedly support the initiatives of the Government. He said the Government has already taken multiple initiatives to address the ongoing pandemic adding that several Government and private hospitals have been dedicated exclusively to treat the COVID positive patients.
Mayor Chander Mohan appreciated the efforts of medical officers and the whole medical fraternity for relentlessly working 24X7 who are making all possible efforts to provide all sort of medical services to the people suffering from different ailments in the ongoing corona crisis.
Corporator, Rahul Kumar cautioned the general public against the rapidly increasing number of COVID cases in Jammu region. He appealed to one and all to be more than strict in following the SOPs issued by the Government from time to time in this regard. He conveyed to them that in today’s scenario the measures taken by the Government in battle against COVID will go in vain unless people proactively participate in this war by sacredly following the norms and getting themselves vaccinated at the earliest.
Asserting that the best possible medical facilities are being provided to the Corona patients in the hospitals and other health institutions, Kumar appealed to the people to display utmost patience in this hour of deep crisis.
Later, the trio BJP leaders visited Corona testing centres in Ward No 20 and interacted with people about the problems being faced by them. They assured people to all possible help in the hour of crisis.
