SRINAGAR: Intermittent moderate to heavy rain lashed Kashmir valley, including the world famous ski resort of Gulmarg and this summer capital, resulting in chilly weather conditions on Tuesday.
However, night temperature improved due to overcast conditions across the valley, where rain and thunder showers are expected to occur during the next 72 hours under the influence of a Western Disturbance (WD), which is active in the region.
A Met department Spokesperson said widespread light to moderate rain or thundershowers would occur during the next 24 hours in the valley.
”Fairly widespread rain or thundershowers would occur during the subsequent three days in the valley, where weather will start improving, from Sunday onwards,” he added. (AGENCIES)
