NEW DELHI : Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi today accepted with humility the people’s verdict in Assembly polls in four states of Assam, Kerala, West Bengal and Tamil Nadu and union territory Puducherry and resolved to work harder to regain confidence and trust of people.
“We accept the verdict of people with humility…..My best wishes to the parties that have won the elections”, Gandhi stated in a post on his twitter handle.
“I take this opportunity to thank every Congress worker and leader and our allies for their effort during these elections”, he said.
“We will work harder till we win the confidence and trust of people”, Mr Gandhi added. (AGENCIES)
