Raghunath Mandir Committee reviews construction measures

JAMMU, July 15: Raghunath Mandir Committee, Fateh Kadal, Srinagar held a meeting today under the chairmanship of its president, Bharat Raina in which the decision of the UT administration regarding inclusion of temple under age old heritage shrine was reviewed.
The Committee gave first hand appraisal about the measures undertaken for repair and restoration work of Raghunath Mandir. The meeting reviewed the measures regarding reconstruction work which has been started in June this year.
The meeting, while expressing its pleasure over the decision said this way the pristine glory of this religious place will be restored and the credit for the same goes to Lt Governor, G C Murmu for taking keen interest in this regard.
The president, while addressing the gathering said that bringing the temple under age old heritage shrine proposal was due to the efforts of the members of the Committee as well as Biradri to restore the grandeur of the temple to its pristine glory as has been maintained in the past.
The meeting also complimented former Sadar-e-Riyasat, Dr Karan Singh, Dharmarth Trust and M K Razdhan from Jaya and Mahraj Krishan Razddan Foundation, USA for their support and expertise.
