JAMMU, June 8: A rag-picker died today due to drowning in Mandlik area falling within the limits of police post Talab Tillo.
According to a police spokesman, a rag-picker identified as Nadir Ali (30) son of Nakshad Ali, resident of Toph Sherkhanian, this evening got slipped in a nallah in Mandlik area and washed away in the water due to heavy rain.
Later, his body was recovered from the nallah near Royal Farms and was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for post mortem. The concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
