Radha Smelters launches new product range of 550D LRF TMT bars in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Dec 7: Hyderabad-based Radha Smelters has launched a new product range of 550D LRF (Ladle Refining Furnace) TMT (Thermo Mechanically Treated) Bars, produced through LRF Route, here on Monday night.
The new product was launched by Actor and brand Ambassador of the company, Rana Daggubati in the presence of Telangana Home Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali and Radha Smelters Director Akshat Saraf at a function held at HICC here.
It is the first of its kind of a product produced by any steel company in South India.
The product has higher ductility and tensile strength ideal for critical
infrastructure projects and high-rise buildings.
With this new product launch and manufacturing capabilities, Radha TMT joins an elite group of large steel producing companies like SAIL, JSPL, JSW and TATA.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said Radha TMT 550D LRF is a unique brand and before bifurcation, Telangana witnessed poor growth due to poor infrastructure. Now it is witnessing -round growth, thanks to the visionary development policies of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.
The state laid down a red carpet welcome to all the industries and the future for the real estate industry in the state is very bright, Mr Ali said.

Mr Saraf said Hyderabad soon is going to be the city of sky-scrappers. About 40 to 50 new sky-scraper projects/apartments of 30 to 40 floors were announced in the last six months by several builders. This augurs good for the newly launched product besides many irrigation, infrastructure projects coming up in the state.
The company aims to enhance its capacity from current 0.4 mn tonnes per annum to 1 mn tonnes by the year 2025, he said the company plans to invest Rs 75 to Rs 100 crore in building additional capacity.
The Company director said the higher ductility and tensile strength is the hallmark of this new range and the new range bars are considered ideal for critical infrastructure projects and high-rise buildings.
The 550D grade TMT bars are preferred for some specific properties that are resistant to earthquakes, he said the company aims at a sales of 1,500 crore in FY 2022-23 against the Rs 530 crore turnover in FY 2020-21. (UNI)
