UDHAMPUR, May 21: A quiz contest for the jail inmates was organised by the District Jail authorities here.
The contest was held on the directions of DG Prisons, S K Mishra, under the supervision of SP District Jail Udhampur, Harish Kotwal. The jail inmates who have been enrolled in the Adult Literacy Centre took part in the quiz program. Teachers, Rajesh Sharma and Ishtiaq Ahmed posed the questions to the jail inmates on the current affairs, state politics and day today common knowledge of various fields. Six teams comprising two jail inmates were framed.
The team of Pritam Kumar and Imtiaz stood first, Vikas and Sher Mohd second while, Tilak Raj and Adil third in the contest. They were rewarded by the SP Jail.
