MENDHAR, May 21: Dozens of people from various parts of Mendhar and Mankote have been suffering due to diarrhoea.
Reports said that more than 200 patients with aliments, loose motion and vomiting have reported to Sub District Hospital Mendhgar during last about five days. The children are the most affected with this problem. Many of them are reporting to the concerned PHCs and Health Sub Centres of the Sub Division.
BMO Mendhar, Dr Zulfkar Choudhary when contacted said that many such cases on daily basis are reporting to the OPD and even emergency of the Sub District Hospital Mendhar. He said the situation is well under control. This problem has been taken place due to unhygienic water consumption. The water samples are being collected and sent for checking from various areas. In some areas medical teams have also been pressed, the BMO said.
