JAMMU, Feb 9: The Jammu and Kashmir Agriculture Technocrats Association (JKATA) has urged upon the higher authorities in the department to quash the recent promotion order and upload the same on the Govt website.
In an emergency meeting of the Association held under the chairmanship of Dr Surinder Radotra, president JKATA at Directorate of Agriculture Talab Tillo Jammu, the members discussed the issue in detail.
They strongly demanded to quash the promotion list of AEAs to JAEOs ( Kashmir Division) Order No (1)Agriculture order No:377/Estt of 2019 , dt 05-11-2019; Agriculture No 378/Estt of 2019 Dt 05-11-2019 and upload the same on APD website.
They stressed that seniority be maintained at state/ UT cadre under SRO 442 and conduct promotion of AEAs to JAEOs at UT level.
They alleged that Director of Agriculture Kashmir in gross violation of SRO 442 conducted DPC / promotion without proper quorum.
While addressing media Dr Radotra said that Directorate of Kashmir has indulged in grave violation and they must conduct DPC for promotion of AEAs as JAEOs at UT level at the earliest.
He said about two months back, Commissioner/ Secy Agriculture MA Lone kept the order of DPC for promotion of AEAs to JAEOs at abeyance as it was convened without proper quorum by Director Agriculture, Kashmir.
As per SRO 442 JAEO is a State/ UT cadre post and very recently as per SRO 732 dt 25/ 10/19 JAEO is a UT cadre post, more than three years ago SRO 442 was published but till date no work has been done to conduct proper DPC at UT level ,where, as Director Agriculture Kashmir in violation of SRO 442 (state) and SRO 732 (UT) without proper conduct has issued two promotion orders .
The Association has appealed to LG, GC Murmu , Advisor to Lt Governor RR Bhatnagar and chief secretary BVR Subrahmanyam to intervene into the matter.
Amit Sharma, Surinder Sharma, Charanjit Singh, S Prakash Vir Singh, Vikas Gupta, Suresh Kumar and Ajay Kumar also attended the meeting.
