JAMMU, Nov 23: Union MoS Finance & Election Incharge, Anurag Thakur focused on Modi Govt’s policies and public welfare schemes, while he addressed series of rallies attended by people in Rajpura, Kathua, Hiranagar, Dinga Amb, Sarore and Bari Brahamana.

Anurag Thakur said that BJP under the leadership of PM Modi has taken numerous steps that were being ignored by the previous Governments. He said that the genuine needs were ignored while only selfish and hate politics with hidden agendas was always done by other political parties. He said that Modi Govt took concrete steps like providing border reservation, constructing bunkers, holding DDC elections for the first time to empower common people, providing world class medical facilities with institutions like AIIMS, Medical Colleges, other technically advanced institutions like IIIM and many more.
Thakur enumerated various Central policies for public benefit like Ujjwala Yojna, Kissan Yojna, Credit Card, distribution of ration especially in Corona period. He emphasized that BJP, right from Praja Parishad, has given sacrifices for the nationalist cause and will always do so in service of society and nation. “Modi ji has fulfilled dreams of everyone and this has won the hearts of people,” he added.
Thakur also attacked the `Gupkar Gang’ for its divisive politics and said that it is only formed to regain long lost ground in public. Stating that they (Gupkar parties) have nothing to offer, he asked masses to vote in favour of BJP candidates.
Anurag Thakur was accompanied by former Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh, former Minister Sat Sharma, BJP Vice-President & Prabhari Yudhvir Sethi, BJP Vice-President Aseem Gupta, BJP General Secretary & former Minister Dr Devinder Kumar Manyal, former Minister Chander Prakash Ganga, former Minister Rajeev Jasrotia, former MLA Kuldeep Raj, former Vice-chairperson Rashpaul Verma, Jangbir Singh Chiku, District President Amar Singh, Praduman Singh, Goswami, Subhash, Suresh Sethu and other senior leaders.
Dr Nirmal Singh focused on the development spree that has been witnessed in the region on the initiatives of Modi Government. He said that development will reach up to the grass root level with the DDC elections under the strong decision taking Government at the Centre.
Other senior leaders of BJP also addressed the gatherings while seeking support for the party candidates in the DDC elections.
