Education plays a very important role in the progress of society. In present times it has become more important as world is now closed in. Every effort is made in spreading education to the farthest corner of the State and in this connection. Our State Govt is determined in achieving this goal. Govt has launched several schemes for the welfare of the student community. Scholarships are being given to the meritorious and the poor students on their way towards studies. Our banks are playing a healthy role in providing educational loans to the student fraternity and everbody can avail this facility.Subsidy on educational loans is a step in the right direction. But here we have to keep two things in mind. Our banks have to be a little liberal in simplifying the procedure while advancing loans to the student community. Secondly recovery of loans must be strict and in time. Students who opt for social study subject should not be debarred from this facility. Our Govt should monitor the finances in such a way that deserving students are not deprived of this ornament. Our country needs intellectuals, writers and scientists of high calibre and integrity and as such education should reach to the poorest of the poor in the country. Education teaches us to be ones own teacher and ones own reformer also.
Education teaches us to face the challenges of life with full faith and confidence. It is base for progress and prosperity. Therefore, educational institutes of repute be opened in every nook and corner of the society.
