JAMMU, Feb 16: Pradesh Youth Congress president Shahnawaz Choudhary has claimed that PYC would fight for the rights of PoK Refugees of 1947, 65 and 71 besides those from West Pakistan.
The PYC president, flanked by vice president Pranab Shagotra, Manjit Singh Jat general secretary, Satish Sharma from Jammu-Poonch and Pankaj Basotra from Kathua-Udhampur-Doda Lok Sabha constituency told the media-persons here that after the successful agitation for 73rd Amendment and Govt decision to empower Panchayats, several refugee leaders met them and sought support for their cause.
Mr Choudhary claimed that now PYC has resolved to launch struggle for the cause of refugees. He said that PYC would seek one time settlement of the refugees issue and the agitation would spread in all the districts.
