JAMMU, Mar 8: Fabulous prizes of 24th Police Public Mela, which was held at Gulshan Ground on February 23, were distributed among the winners by the Director General of Police, Ashok Prasad, Chairperson, Police Parivar, Kiran Prasad, senior police officers and lady members of Parivar here today.
In all 29 prizes of the raffle draw were handed over to the winners against the original raffle draw tickets, at an impressive function held at Officers Mess Gulshan Gound this evening.
The prizes distributed among the winners include Bumper prize Swift Dzire car with family pack items to Joginder Raina of Burnai Jammu.
First prize Nissan Micra Cars to Bilal Ahmed of Anantnag, Liaqat Ali of Jaharkhand, Kartar Singh of Durga Nagar Jammu Fairoz Din of Luddu Doda and Mohamad Iqbal of Karem Udhampur.
Similarly, the second prize Alto 800 Cars were handed over to Muzaffar Ahmed Mir of Hanji Dantar Anantnag, Talab Hussain of Pranoo Doda, Fayaz Ahmed of Qazipura Bandipore, Ravinder Singh of Gallo Doda and Mohammad Amir of Hajnis Kargil.
Likewise, third prize Nano Cars were handed over to Sanjay Kumar of Chowki Handan Rajouri, Naveel Sajortra of Bahu Fort Jammu and Shashi Paul Sharma of Samroli Udhampur.
Fourth prize Motorcycles were handed over to Tufail Hussain of Saaj Rajouri, Mohamad Aslam of Gurshai Poonch, Kewal Kumar of Dehari Udhampur and Krishan Chander of Chack Sadda Samba.
The fifth prize scooties were handed over to Vinod Sharma of Kalidab Rajouri and Subash Chander of Shastri Nagar Jammu.
Among others, the function was attended by Special DGP, K. Rajendra Kumar, ADGPs, S. P. Vaid and Dilbag Singh, IGPs, A. K. Choudhary, H. K. Lohia, Deepak Kumar, SJM Geelani, P.R.
