PWA holds meet, elects new body

KATHUA, Dec 17: Pensioners Welfare Association (PWA) today held a meeting under the chairmanship of Sardar Tara Singh, retired Police Inspector, wherein they discussed their grievances and constituted new body.
In the meeting various burning problems of the pensioners were discussed in which many persons of district Kathua participated and all were in favour of forming new body of the Pensioners Welfare Association.
Accordingly, new body was constituted which included Amar Nath Dogra as district president of the association, Saran Singh as vice president, Anant Ram Raina as cashier, Soma Nath as stage secretary, Mohan Singh Jamwal as chief organiser, Hans Raj Bhagat as organiser, Dilsher Singh as general secretary, Khushi Ram as secretary, Shambhu Nath Verma as advisor, Sardar Tara Singh as chief advisor, Khushi Ram Sharma and Sardar Amrik Singh as advisors.
Som Raj Mehra, Karam Chand Sharma, Manohar Lal Sharma, Dewan Chand, Shakuntla Choudhary were elected as working committee members of the association.
