HIRANAGAR, Dec 17: Two days mega recruitment drive was launched in the premises of GLDM Degree College, Hiranagar under UDAAN.
Dr Naresh Kumar Gupta, Principal of the college during his inaugural speech stressed the participants to take part in such drives actively to get maximum benefits from the different schemes launched by Government of India.
The main objective of the scheme is to train the graduates and post graduates in specific skill sectors and generate employment.
According to Komal Koul Project Coordinator Strategic Project Udaan, this scheme is especially launched for the welfare of unemployed youth of Jammu and Kashmir.
Different corporates who are participating in this programme are Accenture, Appollo Med skills, Ims Health, S.E-Biz Infotech, Sahaj-e-Village, Surya wires, VISPL, MBD group etc.
35 candidates got registered their names under different programmes.
Senior faculty of the college Prof Daya Vilas, Prof Vijay Kumar, Prof Rakesh Sharma and Prof Arun Kumar were also present on the occasion.
