KATHUA, Feb 10: Pensio-ners Welfare Association (PWA) in its meeting here today held under the chairmanship of Amar Nath Dogra district president of the Association discussed the burning issues of the employees and pensioners.
As per a release, the meeting expressed resentment over the inordinate delay in release of salary grants of some employees working in various departments.
Mr Dogra demanded enhancement of Medical Allowance from Rs 300 to Rs 2000 per month and release of 6 pc DA due from July 2016i n favour of the employees and pensioners to provide economic relief to their families.
