MOSCOW, Jan 7: Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed international issues and the fight against terrorism in phone talks with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Kremlin’s press service said on Monday.
“A mutual willingness to expand cooperation on the fight against international terrorism and on resolution of other pressing global issues has been confirmed,” the press service said. Putin has also wished Modi success in the upcoming parliamentary election in India, set to be held in spring. (AGENCIES)
