SAMBA, Mar 25: The people’s of Purmandal and their adjoining village today protest against the CAPD. (Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution) Department at Main Chowk Purmandal demanding the regular supply of Government ration at depot.
The protest was headed by Rashid Mohd Sarpanch Halqua Panchayat Deon (Purmandal). The protestors were shouting slogans against the concerning department and alleging non availability of ration.
They said that there is only one depot at Purmandal and some ration holders had to cover a long distance and have to return empty hands.
The peoples from the villages of Deon, Dager, Kummi, Kartain, Paddel, Kathaar, Dargiyani, Patoli, Kher, Razoli etc.
