Purkhoo Camp inmates demand launch of sanitization drive

JAMMU, May 31: Migrants of Purkhoo Camp Phase IV have demanded holding of immediate sanitization drive in the camp in view of the increasing COVID Pandemic cases.
In a statement issued through Shadi Lal Pandita they have made an appeal to relief authorities to take immediate steps in launching of a sanitization drive in the area so that the people will heave a sigh of relief. The camp inmates also expressed concern over the non availability of medicines in the camp dispensary and demanded that the staff be asked to be present during night hours also. Besides, they demanded renovation of community centers which are in dilapidated condition and installation of benches in the public park. The camp inmates also demanded that the Ashram be compensated for the trees which were cut in its premises.
