JAMMU, May 31: A woman died in accident near Bawe Talab area here today.
As per police sources, a woman was seriously injured when the scooty she was riding was hit by rashly and negligently driven car near Bawe Talab here.
The woman was immediately rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu, where doctors declared her as brought dead.
The deceased was identified as Heena Sharma, daughter of Pyare Lal, a resident of Muthi Maira Jourian.
After completing medical and legal formalities, the body of the deceased will be handed over to legal heirs.
A case under FIR Number 79/2021 under relevant Sections has been registered at Police Station Kanachack and driver of the car identified as Khalid Mehmood, son of Khadim Hussain of Buffliaz, Taradawali Tehsil Surankote District Poonch.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
