Public Grievances Redressal Camp held at Dharmal

JAMMU, May 31: Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Jammu North, Mohd Alyas Khan today held a Public Grievances Redressal Camp at Dharmal in Muthi area to take stock of problems being faced by the people.
Tehsildar, Jammu North along with Naib Tehsildar and representatives of all major departments including PWD (R&B), PDD, RDD, PHE, ZEO, TSO and other officers were present on the occasion.
A large number of people hailing from adjoining areas attended the camp and put forth their grievances related to better road connectivity, sanitation, scarcity of water, power supply, healthcare facilities and other issues pertaining to Revenue Department.
Responding to the issues raised by the people, the SDM gave on spot directions to the officers of the concerned departments for redressal of the grievances put forth by the public. On the occasion, more than 50 income certificates were also issued.
The concerned field officers assured the SDM and public of the area to resolve the issues raised by the public during the Public Redressal Camp in a time bound manner.
The SDM directed the officers of the revenue and other departments present in the camp to keep themselves available to the public as and when required by them and immediately respond to their calls regarding their genuine demands.
