BHADARWAH, Oct 6: The relay dharna against shifting of SDH, Bhadarwah from its existing location in the town to newly built hospital complex at Dandi being organised under the banner of Bhadarwah-Hospital-Bachao-Front continued on 27th day today.
A joint meeting of Anjuman Islamia and Shri Sanatan Dharam Sabha was also held in the old hospital complex Bhadarwah to chalk out further course of action with regard to making the ongoing movement a fruitful exercise. The meeting was also attended by leaders of various political parties. The joint meeting was organised by the youth wing of the Bhadarwah Hospital Bachao Front headed by Satish Kotwal, Raju Paddar, Parveen Kumar and Munish Kotwal.
President of Anjuman Islamia Khairat Ahmed Frash while extending full support to the ongoing movement against shifting of the Sub-District Hospital Bhadarwah from its existing place dispelled the canards being spread by mischievous elements that the ongoing agitation was against the new hospital or the Union Health Minister. “We are thankful to Mr. Azad for giving such a good hospital building at Dandi. But our demand is that it should be equipped with adequate men and machinery instead of being stuffed with old, rusted furniture and already deficit staff of the old hospital.
Sanatan Dharam Sabha, president Ashok Kotwal asked all political parties to join hands to get the order of shifting of hospital reversed, terming the same as most illogical decision. He also asked the people of Bhadarwah to join the struggle by showing solidarity with the protestors who are sitting on the dharna for past over 27 days.
In the meantime a 16 member joint committee was constituted by Presidents of both the religious organisations to chalk out further course of action in support of the ongoing agitation.
