Hajj aspirants’ plea to CM

SRINAGAR, Oct 6: Hajj aspirants who applied with Hajeej Hospitality for performing Hajj this year have urged Chief Minister to intervene and ensure that they undertake the holy pilgrimage as the company’s office has been locked after they duped last year’s intending Hajj pilgrims.
A group of aspirants told Excelsior that they had applied for the Hajj-2012 in 2011 through Hajeej Hospitality since they were offered some rebate for advance payment. They said that they did not know about the fraud to be carried out by the company adding that the money was deposited in good faith.
“Till date we have not received any travel document and there is no response from the company as the whereabouts of its officials are not known. As such CM is requested to intervene in the matter and come to our help. Since there is no fault of ours in this whole thing we should be accommodated to undertake the holy journey,” said the aspirants.
