SRINAGAR, OCT 6: A deputation led by MLA Nobra, Namgyal today called on Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah here and presented him a memorandum of demands pertaining to Nobra area.
The demands included grant of tehsil at block headquarter Diskit, block status of Bogdang in Turtuk halqa, grant of funds for construction of Mini Secretariat, Conference Hall, Club-cum-Library and special sub-division at Diskit. Boring of tunnel at Khardungla and taming of Saichen River.
The Chief Minister gave patient hearing and said that the genuine demands would be given due consideration by the Government.
