VIJAYPUR, June 7: Police Technical Training Institute (PTTI) Vijaypur today organized a lecture on quality investigation, VIP security, and police public relations.
A press statement said that the lecture was delivered by Shamsher Singh Parihar, Retired DySP, who is renowned for his expertise in investigations. The event was attended by police personnel and trainees from the Police Technical Training Institute.
During his lecture, Parihar emphasized the five pillars of quality investigation: analyzation and instrumentation of the crime scene, information gathering, interrogation techniques, supervision, and prosecution.
He stressed the importance of carefully examining the crime scene and properly collecting and preserving evidence for a thorough investigation.
Parihar also highlighted the significance of maintaining cordial police-public relations, as they can provide valuable leads for solving cases. He discussed the do’s and don’ts that should be followed by Personal Security Officers (PSOs) while performing their duties.
In the valedictory address, Shiv Kumar, SSP and Principal of PTTI Vijaypur, expressed his gratitude to Parihar for taking the time to deliver the lecture. He mentioned that the insights shared by Shamsher Singh Parihar would greatly benefit the trainees of the PP Photography course in collecting evidence from crime scenes.
The event was attended by several notable individuals, including Devinder Gupta, DySP (R&D); Kuldeep Raj, DySP (Indoor/Tech.); Inspectors Surrinder Paul, Mulkh Raj, Ram Lal, and others officers.
