JAMMU, Feb 12: Punjabi Sahitik Sabha (PSS) R.S Pura organized a Punjabi literary meet today at Lexicon International Playway School in Miran Sahib.
Well known Punjabi writers of J&K attended the programme.
Jang S. Verman, a well known artist, writer and columnist of art and culture was chief guest whereas Dr. Baljeet Singh Raina, president Punjabi Lekhak Sabha and well known writer, producer and director presided over the meeting.
A short story in Punjabi was presented by Jasmeet Singh, a writer from Kashmir while Harjit Singh Uppal, Jang S. Verman, Dr. Baljeet Singh Raina, Shamsher Singh Chouhalvi, Gurpreet Kour, Saran Star, Renu Sharma, JPS Azad and Pritam Singh Anjaan presented their Punjabi poems of different genres on different topics and themes reflecting socio-political, current affairs and other contemporary issues.
Expressing his views on the presentation and conduct of the literary meet of PSS, Dr. Baljeet Singh Raina gave his views on the short story read out by Jasmeet Singh and other poems presented during the meet.
The meet was conducted by Gurpreet Kour and the programme ended with vote of thanks by Saran Star.
