RAMNAGAR, Apr 28: Panthers Party state president Balwant Singh Mankotia has termed the Public Service Commission (PSC) as hub of irregularities in selection process and blamed that despite protests, biased approach has been adopted towards educated youth of Jammu region.
He said each selection list issued by the PSC is totally Kashmir centric and youth of Jammu region are deprived of their legitimate right of employment.
While addressing a large gathering at village Baland of Ramnagar, Mankotia said that despite continuous protests by the educated youth of the Jammu region, Public Service Commission has turned into hub of irregularities by ignoring the educated youth of Jammu region. Each selection list issued by the PSC is full of irregularities.
Mankotia informed that recently selection list issued by the PSC for Plus-2 lecturer for Physics and Mathematics stream are totally biased as 90 percent selection have been made from Kashmir region while Jammu region get only 10 percent share. The names of selected candidates shows that 90 percent have been selected from Kashmir while 10 percent from Jammu region. He blamed that coalition partner BJP which has sold the interest of Jammu people before Kashmir leadership and Panther party will not tolerate this approach.
He further said that discrimination and biased approach can be brought to an end by creating separate Jammu state and by constituting of separate PSC for Jammu region so that educated youth can get justice in employment and other fields.
Mankotia also paid tributes to army men who martyred in Kashmir and condemned Pakistan and demanded international community to announce Pakistan as terrorist country.
Meanwhile, the `Haq-insaaf Yatra’ started for separate Jammu state today reached Ramnagar where local people gave a warm welcome to Mankotia for starting a mass movement.
