SRINAGAR, Sept 3: In a significant decision, the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission has decided to set up additional examination centres at Anantnag, Baramulla, Doda, Rajouri, Kargil and Leh.
The decision has been taken in order to facilitate large participation of candidates in various Competitive Exami-nations. The candidates will have a choice upto 3 examination centres and the one preferred will be allotted unless on the basis of less number of candidates or other factors, such a Centre will not qualify as an Examination Centre.
In another decision, the Public Service Commission has reiterated the methodology for conducting interviews that is primarily based on assessment of experts besides it also decided that the members for Interview Boards will rotate on daily basis. Moreover, the eligible candidates will be allotted Interview Boards at random.
