JAMMU, May 14: All J&K Sikh Unity Forum (SUF) has urged the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to provide relief/ compensation to the family of Chamail Singh who was killed in Kot Lakhpat Jail, Lahore, in Pakistan on January 15 this year.
In a meeting of the Forum held here today its members Rajinder Singh, Gurdeep Singh, Manohar Singh, Nirmal Singh, Tajinder Singh, Dr Tarlok Singh and others have appealed the Chief Minister to provide compensation to the family members of Chamail Singh who was killed in Pakistan jail. They demanded that status of Shaheed be given to Late Singh and his son be provided job.
