JAMMU, July 10: JK Against Corruption (JKAC) has appealed the youth and various organizations in Kashmir to play role in bringing peace in the State and focus towards brotherhood.
Addressing a press conference, Raj Roop Singh Chib, member, JKAC projected the problems arisen due to stoppage of Shri Amarnath Yatra and killing of Hizbul Mujahideen Commander Burhan Wani in Kashmir.
He stated that the pilgrims and the tourists visiting the State are facing lot of problems due to mismanagement of the authorities including their protection, adding that tourists vehicles damaged in Kashmir by stone pelters are also a matter of concern as it will send a wrong message to others, visiting the State.
Pankaj Gupta, member, JKAC appealed Divisional Commis-sioner to redress the issues of the pilgrims and provide basic facilities to them.
Among others present were Bipan Singh Bakshi, Rajan Gupta, Tarseem Manhas, Rajeev Seth, etc.
