Protest held over shortage of teaching staff

POONCH, Apr 22: Residents of Chella Dhangri held protest over shortage of teaching staff in High School Dhangri and GMS Chella as well as non availability of road facility in the said area since independence.
They were chanting slogans while staging a protest in Tehsil Complex Mandi said that the future of our children is being pushed in the dark which is sheer injustice. “We have approached many officers and also raised voice in grievances redressal camps to resolve these issues but all in vain,” they said.
They warned to block roads on next Friday if issues may not get redressed.
Officials said that there are 15 posts including Headmaster in High School Dhangri in which 10 are lying vacant. One teacher among them is deployed in Primary School Marnote on medical grounds and another is on medical leave, besides there are six posts in GMS Chella in which one is lying vacant, while one teacher among five has been deployed in GMS Kamsar zone Poonch on medical grounds and one teacher is on medical leave.
Tehsildar Mandi, Shahzad Latief Khan said that the Administration is serious to resolve all the genuine issues of public and assured the protestors to resolve their issues as well.
