MENDHAR, Oct 3: A large number of youth from Mendhar and adjoining areas held protest against the R&B authorities for their failure to complete bridge on Harni-Bhimber Gali road and improve the road condition.
The youth of the area under the banner of Mendhar youth Club started protest against the R&B authorities here and shouted slogans against the concerned officers. They pointed out that pillars of the bridge on this road were raised about three years back but after this, the work was abandoned by the contractor. The condition of Harni-BG road was in worst condition and it was also not improved despite repeated requests. They later submitted a memorandum to SDM Mendhar and demanded that fresh tenders be called for the completion of important bridge and improving this road.
