POONCH, Dec 21: The villagers from Harni, Gursai and Galuta area of Mendhar held protest demonstration against the PDD authorities for the frequent unscheduled power cuts during these harsh winter days.
The villagers assembled on the main road at Harni during the day and started protest against the PDD authorities alleging that people have been made to suffer due to long power curtailment. They alleged that students who are preparing for the examinations are the worst sufferers. They also raised loud slogans against concerned AEE and Executive Engineer PDD and the Sub Divisional Administration. They sought the intervention of DC Poonch into the matter.
