Protest against Patel Engineering enters day 5

KISHTWAR, Dec 30: Protest by locals of Sumana Bhata Nagseni who lost their land to the Power Project and other affected people of the area here today entered day 5.
These people are protesting against Patel Engineering Pvt Limited which is constructing Kwar Power Project.
The protesters claimed that the concerned Patel Engineering Company is neither providing job to the affected people nor compensating them.
They urged upon J&K Lieutenant Governor, CVPPL authority, Divisional Commissioner Jammu and DC Kishwar to look into the issue.
Randeep Bhandari, State spokesperson of Democratic Azad Party said that management of Patel Engineering Company has failed to provide jobs to the affected people in the Power Project.
DDC Chairman, Pooja Thakur; DDC Member Nagseni, Faisal Ahmed; Tariq Masood Malik, Abdul Rashid, Liaquat Ahmed, Gulzar Ahmed, Nazir Ahmed, Imran Ahmed, Qasim Ahmed, Raj Kumar and others were also present in the protest.
