JAMMU, Jan 1: A meeting of prominent persons of KP migrant community was held and many issues confronting the migrants were discussed.
The speakers in the meeting said that under the command of Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner, many development works have been executed in different migrant camps.
They appealed to Lieutenant Government to consider the enhancement of monthly cash assistance to the tune of Rs 25,000 per family per month. They also demanded recruitment of KP youths in the recently advertised posts under PM package.
Those who participated in meeting were Ashok Dhar, Sundri Lal Koul, RL Pandita, Vinod, SK Bhat, PL Koul, MK Pandita, VJ Bhat, Rajinder Koul, Chand Ji and Virender Raina.
