UDHAMPUR, Sept 8: Prominent political workers here today joined Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) and were welcomed into the Party folds by Rafiq Malik, LJP J&K president.
The new entrants into LJP were Chuni Lal, Pubhu Ram, Sunil Kumar, Sansaro Devi, Kanchan Dogra and Suman Bala.
Speaking on the occasion Malik said that doors of LJP are open for honest people.
He claimed that youth, students and right thinking people want to work for LJP under the matured leadership of Chirag Paswan.
The LJP leader said that time has come to unite and defeat communal forces which are befooling poor with false slogans.
Lambasting BJP, he said, today every section of the society is on road while BJP is terming these days as ‘good days’.
Demanding restoration of statehood before holding elections in J&K, Malik said that people expect an early restoration of statehood to J&K ahead of assembly elections.
Prominent among those present on the occasion were Varun Bali, J&K senior vice president; R.P Singh, J&K general secretary; Sanju Bhagat, J&K secretary; Mulkh Raj, J&K president of Labour Cell, Neha J&K, general secretary Mahilla Wing and others.
