JAMMU, Jan 12: Prominent social personalities from Pogal, Paristan of Ramban constituency along with their supporters joined Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in presence of senior party leaders at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, here, today.
Former Dy. CM, Kavinder Gupta, J&K BJP vice-president and former Minister, Sham Lal Sharma, former MLA and senior leader, Devender Singh Rana, BJP SC Morcha President and former MLA, Neelam Langeh, senior leader, Rajiv Charak, office secretary, Tilak Raj Gupta, media secretary, Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, Library incharge, Prof. Kulbhushan Mohtra, district Seh-Prabhari, Vinay Gupta and other party leaders welcomed the new entrants into the party fold.
Ramban district president, Rajeshwar Kumar facilitated the joining.
Those who joined the party included retired Government officers, advocates and social activists.
Kavinder Gupta, while welcoming the new entrants into party said that brilliant public welfare policies and good governance provided by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has won the hearts of people. He said that today the party has been getting the support of masses as well as prominent social and political leaders, which speaks of the high acceptability of development policy of BJP.
Sham Lal Sharma said that Prime Minister, Narendra Modi led Government has ushered in a new era of development and progress in the country during all these years. He said that disenchanted with the wrong policies of family led parties, people are joining the BJP in large numbers.
Devender Rana welcoming the new entrants said that Modi Government delivered justice to every person residing in Jammu & Kashmir. He said that witnessing the works of the Narendra Modi led Government, people have developed love and appreciation for the BJP’s policies and works.
BJP vice president, Sham Lal Sharma said that highly impressed by Modi Ji’s slogan of Sabka Saath and Sabka Vikas people in large numbers are joining BJP to dedicate themselves for the service of nation and fulfill the dream of over 130 crore people to make India Vishaw Guru.
Ex MLA Neelam Langeh said with the joining of these prominent people BJP will be further strengthened in entire Ramban district.
