KATRA, May 4 : A meeting of prominent social activists of Katra town was held under the chairmanship of Shiv Kumar Sharma, former president Hotel and Restaurant Association Katra here, today.
The objectives of the newly formed organization included that it will be non political and will work for helping the marriages of poor needy/ orphan girls, besides to help the poor needy persons suffering from chronic diseases.
The meeting said that any persons having the age of 18 years and above , male / female can be its member.
It was decided that there will be a monthly subscription of Rs. 500 per member to meet the financial aspects. This monthly contribution of Rs. 500 collected today itself for the month of April 2024.
That Constitution of the organization will be framed in due course of time.
Other prominent social activists present in the meeting included Babu Ram Sharma, Sukhdev Singh, Ashok Kumar Verma, Kuldeep Sharma and Mukund Ram Sharma.
The Vote of thanks was presented by Sukhdev Singh.
