JAMMU, May 20: Prof Mohan Lal Kaul, a veteran scholar and a social activist breathed his last, today.
Prof Kaul a strong protagonist of separate homeland for Kashmiri Pandits in Valley was actively involved in KPs struggle during the last 27 years of exile. He had various books on history and plight of Pandits to his credit.
A social activist by core Prof Kaul was a bold and fearless writer as well as speaker. His cremation took place at Shakti Nagar Cremation ground this afternoon and a large number of people from all walks of life gave a touching adieu to the scholar.
Various KP organizations including Hindu Biradri of Rainawari has expressed profound shock and grief over his demise.
