JAMMU, Apr 4: A toilet complex was inaugurated at Indira Chowk in Ward No.15 by Minister of State for Education, Tourism and Culture, Priya Sethi and MLA Jammu East and party chief whip in State Assembly, Rajesh Gupta today.
The toilet complex is being constructed by Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) at an estimated cost of Rs 17.50 lakh. The JMC officials who accompanied the MLA included AEE Anil Gupta. The president of the Trikuta Complex, Suraj Sharma and Netar Sodhi also accompanied the dignitaries on the occasion.
Priya Sethi while speaking on the occasion said that fast pace and planned development has become the hallmark of the BJP Government. She said that one just has to look around Jammu to feel the difference as many national level institutions are coming up. In the field of education sector IIT,IIM and AIIMS are to name a few. She said that no other Government would have been able to bring such institutions in Jammu.
Priya said that a tirade has been launched by disgruntled opposition against the BJP who cheated the people over the years as they are in desperation seeing the huge development taking place across the country as well as J&K State.
She said BJP Government at Centre led by Narendra Modi is committed to make India a Vishav Guru and regain its pristine glory.
Rajesh Gupta, while speaking on the occasion said that Jammu East is the nerve centre of the entire region and as such we have ensured the comprehensive and inclusive development of the area. Gupta said that efforts have been made to ensure that all the needy and weaker sections of the society are included in the developmental agenda. He said that the State Government has taken up all the schemes launched by the Modi Government to the grass root level and it has made a lot of difference on the ground.
