JAMMU, Dec 25: Sarpanch of Panchayat Muthi Maira, Priya Sharma today laid foundation stone of a public park on the bank of river Chenab in Maira area of Akhnoor.
Speaking on the occasion, the Sarpanch said that the park will serve the purpose of beautification of adjoining villages.
She also planted some saplings in nearby Panchayat Ghar.
Prominent among those present on the occasion were Naib Sarpanch, Ashok Kumar; Panch, Daleep Kumar, Rajan Vaid, Garu Ram, Sanjay Kumar, Sham Lal, Rattan Lal, Ashok Kumar and others.
