JAMMU, Apr 13: Minister of State for Information, Education and Culture, Priya Sethi today flagged off Sukrala Mata Yatra from Sukrala Mata Mandir, Purani Mandi.
Hundreds of devotees accompanied the Charri Mubarak from Sukrala Mandir that left for Sukrala Mata Temple, Billawar in District Kathua.
Earlier, the Minister participated in a Yagya organized by the Sukrala Seva Dal at to mark the beginning of the pilgrimage.
MLC, Ashok Khajuria, MLA Jammu East Rajesh Gupta, senior BJP leader, Yudhvir Sethi besides a good number of prominent citizens and members of Seva Dal attended the Yagya.
Interacting with the participants, the Minister said that religious events like this spread the message of the brotherhood and peace. She and hoped that the Yatra will bring happiness and prosperity to the State.
The Minister also prayed for the betterment and welfare of the people.
