JAMMU, Nov 16: A 65-year-old priest was found murdered inside a temple here today.
As per police sources, a priest identified as Baba Pargat Nath, who hails from Uttar Pradesh, was found dead with head injuries. He was the priest at the temple in Toph Sherkhania area for many years.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and shifted the body to mortuary of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for autopsy.
A case under FIR Number 194/19 under Section 302 IPC has been registered at Bakshi Nagar Police Station and investigation started.
However, no arrest was made till last reports were compiled.
