SAMBA, Nov 16: One person was killed in a road mishap after his motor cycle was hit by a van at village Kungwala near here, today.
According to the reports, the mishap took place at Samba border road near village Kungwla, when a van bearing Registration No JK21D- 2179 on the way of Bainglar from Samba after reaching near village Kugwala, suddenly hit a Motorcycle as a result the bike rider got critically injured.
The deceased has been identified as Rattan Lal, son of Gushu, resident of village Kugwala Samba.
He was rushed to District Hospital Samba with the assistance of locals where doctors declared him as brought dead. The body of the deceased was handed over to legal heirs for his last rites after conducting the autopsy.
Samba police has taken cognizance of the matter and started further investigations.
